HOW LIFE TAUGHT ME TODAY THAT HUMILITY IS A GREAT VIRTUE

*HOW LIFE TAUGHT ME TODAY THAT HUMILITY IS A GREAT VIRTUE.*

My name is Uwagboe Ogieva. I met this multi billionaire today, 8th of August 2018 about 13:30 pm. He is the Ex president of Catalunya, who was president for 23 years. He is richer than so many African billionaires and presidents. His name is Jordi Puyol. This man is one of the richest men in Spain. He was in a supermarket condis in a village settlement called Ribes de Freser a border town with france where i went for camping for some days in order to pass my holiday.

Jordi Pujol was like every other person, was with his wife, buying fish and apple, queuing in line like every other person to pay to the cashier.

When I saw him, I thought my eyes were deceiving me till I got close to him and asked him a question, if he was the man I use to see in the television called Jordi Pujol because he looks very much like him, he answered YES. We had a little conversation and I asked him for a photograph which he agreed.

As an African I was amazed and emotional, not because I have not seen billionaires before but the way most of these European rich and wealthy men and women live their lives. The simplicity they adopt in life.

My mind goes to so many so call black african’s big men and women whose many wealth assessment may not even be up to 1 billion. How they so exalt themselves with names, titles, and unnecessary high egos.

What a lesson life taught me today about humility and simplicity of life, we africans always love to compete, raise our egos high and oppress others around us.
